Hair Extension Costs in Lone Tree: Real Numbers from a Real Stylist
Can we talk about something everyone's thinking but nobody wants to ask? MONEY. đź’°
I get it—extensions are an investment, and you want to know what you're getting into BEFORE you book that consultation. So let me be super transparent with you about what extensions actually cost in the Lone Tree and Denver area!
No vague "starting at" pricing. No "call for quote" nonsense. Just real numbers from someone who's been doing this for years and knows exactly what quality extensions cost! ✨
The Quick Breakdown (Because You're Busy!) đź’¨
Clip-In Extensions: $250-$450
Tape-In Extensions: $1,200-$2,000 (initial install)
K-Tip Extensions: $1,800-$2,800 (initial install)
Sew-In Extensions: $800-$1,500 (initial install)
But wait—there's SO much more to understand about extension costs! Let me break down what actually affects pricing, what's included, and how to budget for the TOTAL investment (not just the initial appointment).
What Actually Affects Extension Pricing? 🤔
1. Hair Quality
This is HUGE, babes! At Jo Hearts Hair, I exclusively use premium Remy and European Remy hair from brands like Great Lengths, HairTalk, and Coco Marie. Why? Because I want your extensions to last, look natural, and make you feel AMAZING!
2. Length of Hair
Pretty straightforward—longer hair costs more! Most of my clients get 18-20 inch extensions because it hits that sweet spot of "long but not overwhelming."
3. Amount of Hair Needed
This depends on YOUR hair thickness and what you're trying to achieve. During your free consultation, I'll tell you EXACTLY how much hair you need. I'm not going to upsell you—I want your extensions to look natural!
The REAL Cost: Initial Install + Maintenance 📊
Extensions aren't a one-time cost. Let me show you what a FULL YEAR actually costs:
Tape-In Extensions (18 inches): Initial install $1,500 + Maintenance every 6-8 weeks ($300 per visit x 6) = Total first year around $3,300-$3,500
K-Tip Extensions (18 inches): Initial install $2,200 + Maintenance every 10 weeks ($450 per visit x 4-5) = Total first year around $4,150-$4,650
Clip-In Extensions: One-time purchase $350 + Products $100 = Total $450-525, lasting 1-2 years!
See the difference? Clip-ins are AMAZING if you're on a budget!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer payment plans?
I don't personally offer financing, but many clients use CareCredit or Affirm to break up the cost into monthly payments!
Are there any hidden fees?
NOPE! The price I quote includes everything: hair, application, styling, cut to blend, and aftercare instructions!
How much should I budget for products?
Plan on $100-150 initially for sulfate-free products. These last 2-3 months, so you'll spend about $50-75 on refills throughout the year.
What if I can't afford maintenance?
Let's talk during consultation! We can adjust the amount of hair, choose a different method, or start with clip-ins until your budget allows!
